There are more than 4 lakh diverse plant species in the world.most of these plant have unusual and unique attributes.

Tumboa or welwitschia mirabilis

Tumboa is the common name of welwitschia mirabilis. It is a huge plant found in the desert of southern angola and namibia.

• It leaves can grow up to 10 feet in opposite direction.
• some of them are more than 2000 years old.
• It is also known as a'living fossil'.

Baseball plant

Euphorbia obesa or the baseball plant found in south africa has a unique structure and is a branch less plant.

• Its diameter ranges between 6 cm to 15 cm.
• It can store and retain water for the drought phase.
• It is toxic in nature which can cause skin problem.
